eggs galore

The Street girls couldn't wait for the Easter Bunny to visit them this year, but they had lots to do while they awaited his arrival.  Unfortunately, Emma Jane was sick with a sinus infection so she missed out on a few events, but she still managed to have some fun.

Vivian participated in her very first egg hunt when we met with some friends Friday afternoon. She promised to find some eggs to bring home to big sis who wasn't feeling well.  Vivi and Charlotte had their own designated "baby area" to hunt eggs while the big kids had a more challenging egg hunt.

The Easter Bunny didn't forget the Street girls!

Emma Jane dyed and decorated a few
eggs while Vivi took a morning nap.

Emma Jane put all of the eggs in a paper bag nest she had made at school and then put her new stuffed frog on top of them.  I wondered why she was shouting facts about how frogs lay eggs while I was cleaning up the kitchen!

Since Emma Jane didn't get to participate in any of the pre-Easter egg hunts, we hid some eggs for she and Vivian to find in our neighborhood park late Sunday afternoon.

It was truly an Easter filled with blessings and love!
